Geoff lectured in anatomy and neurology for 21
years before going into private practice in 1993. He is a founding
Diplomat of the European College of Veterinary Neurology and a past president
of this organisation. He also served on the RCVS Council for twelve
years.
In addition to this he established Vet MRI, which
was the world’s first mobile MR scanning facility for small animals. In 2004
ChesterGates Referral Hospital opened its doors to patients after a year
of building and preparation and remains one of the leading referral
centres in the UK.
Geoff's most recent publication with Ian Elliott,
the 'Handbook of Small Animal MRI' has been very popular and is now on the
recommended reading list of the European College of Veterniary Diagnostic
Imaging.
Geoff has particular interests in neurosurgery, epilepsy, spinal surgery
and spinal disease, Chiari-like malformations and MR Imaging
