BVHA Office Manager

In 1993, I left academia and established Church Farm Veterinary Clinic with my husband. From the outset I was in charge of the business operations from the day to day running of the surgeries to long term planning and growth. In 1994 we purchased Cranmore Veterinary Surgery and in 2004 the Upton Veterinary Surgery all on the Wirral.

In 2003 I was co-founder and Director with responsibility for the business development of ChesterGates Referral Hospital, a large multidiscipline veterinary referral hospital near Chester.

I was also instrumental in establishing the ChesterGates-Myerscough School of Veterinary Nursing and served as its Principal until my retirement in 2013.

I was also a co-founder and Business Development Director of VetMRI which was the UK’s and the world’s first mobile scanning facility for veterinary use. The service grew quickly to visiting a number of private practices and veterinary schools and was aimed at offering available and affordable MRI facilities to veterinary surgeons throughout the UK.

I have been the Office Manager for the BVHA since 2013.
